AppleIQ – Terms & Conditions
Minimum Charges
All goods received by AppleIQ for diagnosis, repair, servicing, or work of any nature will incur at least a minimum charge.Risk & Liability
Goods received by AppleIQ are left at the client’s own risk. While every effort is made to ensure equipment is returned in the same or better condition, due to the nature of electronic equipment, AppleIQ cannot fully test all equipment prior to acceptance. Therefore, AppleIQ will not be held responsible for any change or supposed change in condition.Data Responsibility
While AppleIQ will make copies of data on request, it remains the client’s responsibility to back up all data. AppleIQ will not be held responsible for any data lost.Uncollected Goods
Any units not collected and paid for within one month of job completion may be sold to defray expenses.Water-Damaged or Previously Opened Goods
Goods that have been opened before, or are water-damaged, will be worked on at the client’s request. However, AppleIQ cannot guarantee the length of time they will be operational nor provide any warranty on parts fitted to these goods.Charges

AppleIQ – Repair Terms & Conditions
These Repair Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute your agreement with AppleIQ and apply to all services and repairs conducted outside of warranty and/or the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
1. Data – Back Up or Transfer Your Data
1.1 If your device stores data, software, or information, AppleIQ may attempt to transfer the data to a replacement device.
1.2 Data transfer will only be made to your replacement device or an external storage device you provide. AppleIQ will not use third-party systems and will not store a copy of your data.
1.3 Repairs may require deleting or reformatting data, restoring devices to factory settings, or reinstalling systems. AppleIQ will not be responsible for any loss of data.
1.4 Clients are strongly advised to keep a separate backup and remove personal information before handing in a device.
2. Quotes, Fees and Prices
2.1 AppleIQ offers competitive pricing and does not charge for consultations or diagnostics.
2.2 Quotes will include repair/service costs and will be sent for confirmation via email.
2.3 If you accept a quote but choose not to leave your device with AppleIQ while waiting for parts, a non-refundable deposit of 75% of the repair value must be paid.
2.4 AppleIQ reserves the right to change prices at any time but changes will not affect jobs already in progress.
3. Payment
3.1 Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, cheque card, EFT, or pre-arranged methods.
3.2 Devices may only be collected once EFT payments clear in AppleIQ’s bank account.
4. Parts and Labour
4.1 Repairs may use new and/or tested genuine used parts.
4.2 Replaced parts become the property of AppleIQ.
5. Refunds
5.1 No refunds for repairs or services, except as described under the Warranty.
5.2 Refunds for sales will be processed into your bank/credit account within 30 working days of AppleIQ receiving the returned product and invoice.
6. Return of Devices/Products/Parts
6.1 Returns are only allowed as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
6.2 A handling fee of up to 15% may be charged.
7. Warranty
7.1 All devices carry an implied warranty under the CPA.
7.2 Replacement parts/products carry a supplier/manufacturer warranty where applicable.
7.3 Clients may return defective devices/parts within 6 months of delivery.
7.4 Devices may be returned if:
7.4.1 Found unsuitable for a specific purpose within 10 days.
7.4.2 The client did not examine or rejected delivery under section 19(5) of the CPA.
7.5 Remedies include:Repair of the device/part.
Replacement of the device/part.
Refund of the amount paid.
7.6 If devices are not faulty after inspection, clients are liable for handling/shipping charges.
7.7 The warranty excludes defects caused by:Unauthorized accessories or parts.
DIY/unauthorized repairs.
Neglect, misuse, abuse.
Dents, cracks, burns, scratches, liquid damage, viruses/malware.
Acts of God (flood, fire, war, etc.) or power surges.
7.8 All returns must be inspected and approved before exchange/refund.
7.9 Warranties are non-transferable.
